Position
Summary:
The Community Outreach Supervisor oversees the day-to-day of the Community Outreach Department and Community Outreach staff.
The Supervisor is responsible for building, executing, and maintaining relationships in the community, including organizing financial education programs and outreach initiatives for the public, businesses, professional groups, and community-based organizations interested in improving financial literacy and self-sufficiency.
This position is also responsible for individual and group financial coaching sessions and works with internal teams to design, develop, and deliver trainings; prepare materials, facilitate workshops, and develop metrics and run reports.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Identify & execute community financial, educational needs, and opportunities.
Schedules and coordinates outreach events, meetings, and presentations to increase ACCC's visibility of ACCC's services in the community.
Develop and maintain community relationships based on goals and objectives.
Provide support to partner organizations and consumers, including information about services, resources, educational programs, and referrals.
Develop new financial education programs based on the needs of the community.
Assign work, set completion dates, review work, and manage performance according to organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes.
Participate in community outreach planning and goal setting for community outreach.
Provides quarterly and annual updates of department goals, creditor updates, member association updates, board updates, and other updates as needed.
Reviews workshop bookings, presenter inventories, evaluations, and coordinates reporting metrics as needed.
Develops a strong community outreach team through positive leadership skills.
Hires, coaches, trains, develops, and monitors department staff.
Teaches/mentors community outreach team.
Develops/maintains positive relationships with other departments.
Prepares the team's quarterly and annual performance reviews.
Assists where needed on others performance reviews.
Accepts other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Supervisory skills:
3-5 years Must have strong relationship-building and interpersonal flexibility, solid organizational skills, problem solving abilities, coaching and communication skills Commitment to expanding financial literacy and economic justice for disenfranchised populations with an interest in community service A robust understanding of personal finances, particularly in the areas of budgeting, money management and credit Excellent facilitator with proven ability to present information to diverse groups both online and in person using various delivery methods Must be dynamic, energetic, and engaging Excellent written, and verbal skills Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to manage responsibilities independently and work well under pressure Detailed oriented with excellent time management and documentation skills Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, NFCC Credit Counseling Certification, NFCC Certified Credit Educator Certificate (to be obtained within first six months of employment) Flexibility with schedule; position requires some early mornings, evenings, and weekends Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
