Accounting Associate - In Person

The Accounting Analyst will work closely with the Controller, Accounting department and other financial professionals within the organization to help maintain clear and concise Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable customer accounts.
This role requires working collaboratively with others in the department to provide detailed analysis and reports that includes retail sales location paperwork, cancellations, and adjustments as well as all aspects of the Accounts Payable function.
Accounts Receivable:
o Daily review and reconciliation of the retail location sales paperwork.
o Daily review of sales invoices to ensure that the state sales tax collected has been assigned to the state where the delivery occurred.
o Process and manage sales cancellations and other A/R entries to the customer's accounts on a timely basis.
o Reconcile and review the daily cash reconciliations to our operating system.
o Monthly review and status reporting of aged accounts receivable balances.
o Prepare, manage and ensure the accuracy of the weekly financing settlements to our customer accounts.
o Other financial duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Accounts Payable:
o Timely and accurate daily processing of accounts payable vouchers.
o Timely and accurate weekly processing of accounts payable checks/wires/achs.
o Timely and accurate maintenance of vendor W-9 data along with the submission of the annual 1099 data to the IRS.
o Maintain all aspects of the Master vendor file.
o Maintain all accounts payable files and documentation.
o Research and resolve vendor invoices, inquiries and discrepancies.
o Monthly Auto Debit & Debit Card Reconciliations o Maintain Prepaid Invoice Report o AP Filing o Quarterly processing of Marketing credits o Credit application completion when needed.
o Daily monitoring of bank activity for the AP/Payroll Account and Debit Card account.
o Maintain ordering of business cards and misc.
forms as well as custom envelopes.

o Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office needed.
o AS400 system experience a plus.
